I remember planning play dates when I was little. This is how they would go.
(On the phone)
Me: Hello, this is Julia Heffernan. Is so-and-so there?
Other Person: Yes, sure. One second.
(pause)
So-and-so: Hi.
Me: Hi. Want to have a play date at my house?

I was awake until 5:45 last night and now I have to go to class to discuss Breton’s manifesto on surrealism. I keep trying to pump myself up for it, but all my brain wants to do is hum the Harry Potter song.

This is my dorm’s video for our Dorm Competition. I had very little to do with it, but I’m still extremely proud. I think it’s awesome.
The theme was respect, so we sortof forced a theme of respect into something that was just generally awesome.

I met someone today whose concentration at Gallatin is Villains. That’s it. Not bad guys, or crooks. Straight up Villains. I love my school.
