Grownup

So today I opened up a bank account, which to me seems like the first step into adulthood.  I have been using a local bank up until now that has no “branches” only the one location in Millbrook.  So far it has been great, but spending all this time down in the city makes me hate the fact that I have to pay two dollars when I need to get some cab fare out of an ATM.  So I bit the bullet went into the bank Katie recommended and said “Hey! Listen! I am a student and I want to open an account!”  Actually…I just mosied up to the outside of the bank where it said free accounts for NYU students and a lady came over and said “you look like you need a bank account.”  I said, “yeah I was thinking about it.”  Then she said “You want to come inside and check it out?” I nodded and she said “You have a pretty face.”  I was sold.  But I can’t help thinking that maybe I was being swindled even though I used my BEST judgement and kept thinking what would dad do?
